 Scooby Doo Meets Batman (1972)
IMDB rating: 7.00
Plot: Holy jinkies, Batman, just when it seemed superheroes couldn’t get any groovier, you collide with the Mystery Machine gang. Such a pairing might normally yield one wacky crime-fighting power struggle, but in these two capers egos take a back seat to classic you-check-this-out, we’ll-check-that Scooby-Doo splintering. First, bat-plagued pranksters Penguin and the Joker kidnap a hopelessly tongue-tied professor in a scheme to swindle a high-tech flying suit. Then the conniving criminals return as bit players in a counterfeiting ring run out of a way-wacky funhouse. Soar along in the Batmobile or make like a banana and split with Shaggy and Scoob at these crime scenes—either way, it’s a secret-passageway and scary-mask-packed combo even more compelling than the cookies-and-batmilk Scooby snack the pesky kids tuck into during a break in the action.

Who remembers Scooby-Doo cartoons?
Who watched old school Scooby-Doo? It dawned on me that they never went to jail for the stuff they did. And the sheriff never did really do anything. Here is my point.
1. They always had to break in somebodies house to look around.
2. They broke into a museum or a military base. Even if its closed its still goverment property.
3. The sheriff never read them their rights. The crooks.
4. They always took a shortcut. When you know you never take a shortcut.
5. They never have enough gas to get where there are going.
6. If they met Batman and Robin, why couldn’t they meet Superman? They could have helped him trap Lex Luthor.
7.Why couldnt Shaggy just stay out of the $h!t they got into?Being his dad is a cop an everything.
8. Even in some cartoons they chaged their clothes. 40 plus years in those same funky @$$ $h!t.
9. Why couldn’t Fred just get a new car like everybody else does?
10. I really think that Shaggy and Scoob tried some srooms and still are high.
Its always @ nite when the crew has to get gas or water for the Mystery Machine. And that when trouble starts. "I would have gotten away with it. If it hadden been for those medling kids and that dog."
1. They were under age.
2. They were as tolerant personal could be, for one thing they were just kids.
3. We just never saw that. Technically Miranda rights have to be read before questioning.
4. Heck, they had their Mystery Machine in Venice, Italy once. VENICE! There are no roads!
5. Perhaps it was one of those hippie environmentally friendly vehicles.
6. Good question.
7. He’s a hippie.
8. They’re hippies and young and on the road the entire time. So they conserved room and probably didn’t mind having the same clothes all the time. Where would they get new clothes anyway?
9. I don’t know if it was really his. In the shows featuring Scrappy, Scooby and Shaggie only they had the Mystery Machine. It may have been Shaggie’s. It seems to fit him more than any of the others anyway.
10. Why do you think they had to eat all the time, although as kids we thought it was just funny.

You sound bitter. Did they foil one of your schemes? lol
Here’s something you can nab them with:
*Whispers*: Scooby never got his shots

I watched them and you are putting way to much thought into this question. This is a cartoon for kids. Reality can be optional for cartoons. They are entertainment. If you don’t like it don’t watch it. I like to watch cartoons to escape from reality and have a good laugh. If you are worried about the influence it has on kids, that’s where parenting comes in.

You are right. Also, I am betting:
Fred was gay (what straight man wears a dickey)
Daphne was a spoiled brat
Velma has to be a lesbian
Shaggy was a pot head
Scooby was the brains
and Scrappy, if Scooby is his uncle, who are Scrappy’s parents? I hated him, he was a speed bump just waiting to happen.

gosh o_O..just don’t watch it if you have problems with that, there’s lot of lameness in that show and it’s not the most intelligent show ever either, but hey it’s still nice and small kids enjoy it (and me sometimes ^_^), if you’re so smart go read some book better or something…if you’re such a smartass..scoob and shag rocks ! ^_^

i watched it.. and like it…
ya… the criminals always use the phrase "i would have……….."
i guess, when v heard that phrase,v will remember scooby doo…
so that y they never change that…
and about them they tresspassing, i guess they sherif just ignore that considering that they help him a lot.. (he don’t have to solve the case)
